As the baby-boomers approach senior citizen status, elders will become a larger portion of the population seeking therapy. With increasing age, there are increasing changes in physical capacity and losses of friends and loved ones. Elders become "dis-membered from society. Through listening to their life stories and respectfully reflecting our responses to them, they "re-member their lives and themselves back into society. In an interview with an elder, Anna, Tom Andersen asks generative questions which are followed by reflections from the group who witnessed the interview. An inspirational follow-up nine months later demonstrates the impact of the conversations that we have been holding with Anna. This tape demonstrates the power of the reflecting process and would also be appropriate to show elders.
