Roth, Sallyann & Stains, Robert - DVD - PUBLIC CONVERSATIONS PROJECT

$95.00

Sallyann Roth and Bob Stains discuss the beginnings of the Public Conversations Project (PCP). They describe the philosophy of the project and give multiple examples of the work they have been involved in. The PCP strives to help people in their mutual understanding rather than being a method for changing minds or positions.

Tape Running Time: 54 minutes

Sallyann Roth is a Senior Associate of PCP. Her primary work is teaching, training, writing, and consulting. She is especially involved in developing and leading the training programs offered by the PCP and provides training in that work and in Narrative Therapies both nationally and internationally. She serves as a consultant for the interpersonal skills component of the Harvard Negotiation Project at Harvard Law School, consults with and provides training to organizations, and maintains a clinical practice.

Bob Stains is the Director of Training on the faculty of the Family Institute of Cambridge. At PCP he co-presents the Power of Dialogue and Inquiry as Intervention workshops, designs and co-facilitates conversations on such controversial issues as abortion and sexual orientation, consults to practitioners and trains dialogue facilitators. He also mediates and trains mediators in the transformative model for the US Postal Service. He provides training and consultation to national and international organizations on creating openings for constructive conversation in the midst of conflict.
