Diane R. Gehart, Ph.D., LMFT, is an Associate Professor at California State University, Northridge, and Director of the Center for Collaborative and Relational Therapies. She is the author of Theory-Based Treatment Planning for Marriage and Family Therapists: Integrating Theory and Practice, and has authored numerous papers and chapters on postmodern therapy and qualitative research. Her current research is focused on mindfulness and therapeutic applications of Buddhist philosophy and practice.
